I was given a copy of this book as a gift, and I love it. This is a collection of beautiful poems dealing with intensely personal themes. It's rare to find such a fluid intermixing of mundane and profoundly philosophical and metaphysical images and ideas. Some of the poems here are deeply moving, even heart-wrenching; some are lighthearted and laughter-inducing. All are well put together. The collection as a whole creates for the reader a very concrete and yet spiritual journey. I recommend it highly, whether you consider yourself a lover of poetry or not.
