This book is exactly what I was looking for. As someone who was completely new to investing, I was initially overwhelmed and had no idea where to start. This book explains in great detail how to to get started using methods that are both simple and effective. So far I am very pleased with the results. This is a great resource for anyone looking to invest, and I recommend to all.
For me investing has always been a bit scary. Its something people talk about but as someone that doesn't work in a traditional field, a 401K is a term that has been thrown around but I've never had one or had a job that even offered one. Now that I'm nearly thirty I've come to the hard realization that I need to start thinking about the future. I wish I had found this book earlier in my life because the tips are easy to use and everything in this book made sense to me. I've found that investing isn't nearly as scary as I thought it was and even if you only have a little bit to put aside its worth it to see what kind of options are available for you.
This was a great read for me, it has also given me the motivation to start searching for investment opportunities. What I really liked about this book is after each chapter their is a resources page which links you to various information which was just discussed. The book has a fast pace and packs alot of information into this quick start guide.
Random ideas of where to consider investing. Not at all what I expected. I Wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
This book should is a list of "side hustles" on non-traditional ways of making money which is very inn right now. I had already discovered all of these ways myself interestingly enough, but I was glad I bought the book because it let me know that other people are doing it and successful at it. As he does talk about in the book, people with a different mindset will not understand you, your mindset, or how in the world you "don't believe in resumes."
I read this "book" in about ten minutes and the whole time I was thinking to myself how vague and absolutely horribly written this "book" is. Do yourself a favor and read "The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing Fifth Edition" by author Jason Kelly or "A Beginner's Guide to Investing How to Grow Your Money the Smart and Easy Way" by author Alex Frey. These two books will get you started on actual investing strategies that will help you succeed unlike the childish and inchoate ideas that are presented in this book.
As a 20 something, this book presented ideas in the world of investing that I had never thought of. The contents are riddles with quick tips and the facts and resources you need to get started now! It was a quick read. I read it all in a one hour flight. Take the hour to invest in your future and give this a read.
